Alan McKenzie is a general practice lawyer at TNG Legal Services MDP.

Alan spends a significant amount of his time as a lawyer helping clients who have recently lost a loved one with their probate and estate administration needs.

This includes:

  • working out next steps after the loss of a loved one;
  • obtaining a grant of probate
  • transferring assets; and
  • preparing an accounting for the estate.

Alan’s family law practice is focused on non-contentious matters, including:

  • helping clients make a wide range of family agreements, including co-habitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and parenting agreements;
  • helping clients with their uncontested divorce applications.

In his real estate practice, Alan helps clients buy, sell or refinance their homes. Alan helps first-time homebuyers, corporate clients and existing homeowners, and works with a wide range of lenders from the big banks, to credit unions and monoline lenders. He also helps family members clear title to their property after the loss of a loved one, or add family members on title for estate planning purposes.

Alan helps his clients set up and maintain small, family-owned businesses. He also helps clients who have created their own family-owned business update their records and ensure they are properly structured for their business goals.
